MBA, M.Sc. Information & Communication Systems Engineer

Thanassis Dais is Information and Communication Systems Engineer and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. He holds an MBA in “Techno-economical Systems” from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master of Science (MSc) in the “Information Systems Security” from the University of the Aegean. During the past years he has worked in the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) at the President’s Office as a Managing Consultant, he participated in projects with the Foundation of Research and Technology Hellas (F.O.R.T.H.), with the National Research and Technology Network (GRNET) and with the University of the Aegean. He has also worked with many national and international telecommunication vendors as well as with some of the biggest telecom providers in Greece. He has a great experience in the fields of Information Systems Security, Radio Frequency Spectrum Management, ADSL Networks, Adhoc Networks and Wireless Communications. Since 2002 he is a licensed ham radio operator and, as socially aware he is, he provides voluntarily training in rescue and fire fighting squads in the fields of wireless communications, private mobile radio networks licensing and emergency situations management.
